Dead Poets Society; Mr. Keating Internal and External conflict

         Sometimes in life they came to us people who touch our lives for a good reason and for a good way. In the movie Dead Poets Society Mr. Keating is the person who wants to make a positive interaction with his students and the positive teacher. The external conflict was that  Mr. Keating taught for his students so many lessons that make a transformation in the life of his students. He is teaching in the school when he studied, but he teaching about poetry. His classes were not boring and have a good purpose. The first word that he teaches was “Carpe Diem”, which means seize the day. His class is not about the theory poetry, read and write, is about the make the sense of life and see the perspective of life like the reality and for a good reason. Example: Mr. Keating teaches about that we need to take risks in life if we want something and confront the situations and it’s was to be individual. Mr. Keating has problems with the superiors of the administration in school because the principal wants that Mr. Keating teaching like hard form and he ignored them because he knew the purpose that he wants for his students. The students love him.

          Mr. Keating has an internal conflict because Mr. Keating was the creator when he was young  about the Dead Society Group. This is was a group that escapes in the nights outside the school and make a meeting to read poetry. So his students search information about him and found the book of poetry when Mr. Keating was been participated in the group. So one of students he's name was Neil Perry, makes the decisions to re-start the group again and they made it. Neil takes so serious the poetry group, and then he found that the most important thing that he loves is the passion of acting. Mr. Keating support him all the time, but Neil parents don’t want that their son doing acting, because the only thing that Neil needs to do obligatory, is study a lot for became a doctor. This is why the reason that Neil make the decision to kill himself and that create a problem with Mr. Keating because Neil parents did everything too take Mr. Keating out of the school. Mr. Keating cry when Neil die because he knows that Neil make alive the Poets Society group and he has a lot appreciate about the poetry book. He goes from the school sad but happy at the same time because the students make honor to him and he knows that students learn about follow their dreams, the passion and the sense of life in poetry because poetry makes us alive.
